Training Mande grew up in Northeastern Colorado showing horses
and cattle. She attended Northeastern Junior College and obtained her
associated degree in Equine Management. While attending college she also
worked part time for cutting horse trainer Llyod Cox. After graduating from college, she moved to Watikins, CO to work with Darren Miller, training and showing reining horses. In 2005, after four years with Darren, Mande started her own buiness “Quick Performance Horses.” Now located in Loveland, CO, she enjoys training and showing reining horses with her husband Justin. Mande’s most recent accomplishments are: 2008 RMRHA Summer Slide Rookie Professional Champion
Justin In 2002 Justin also began working for Darren Miller. He was starting colts and soon began training and showing Working Cow Horses. After leaving Darren’s he went to work with the successful reining horse trainer Lance Shockley. While working with Lance, Justin had success in AQHA and NRHA events. In 2008 Quick Performance Horses was growing to be too much work for one person, so Justin decided to stay home and help Mande build their business into the success it has become. Together Mande and Justion have developed a program to help each individual horse reach their fullest potential. They feel that in order to do this, they need to provide them with the best quality care. They work side by side with their veterinarian, farrier and equine nutritionist to keep their reining athletes performing at the thop of their game.
