Shiney Little Gun

We are proud to stand Shiney Little Gun at Quick Performance Horses. "Gunny" is by Colonels Smokin Gun (Gunner) and out of a good daughter of Shining Spark, Shining Little Peach. Shiney Little Gun is a 2006 sorrel stallion and is registered with both AQHA and APHA.

Shiney Little Gun is just at the beginning of his show career, but he is already a winner. He earned his AQHA Register of Merit at the 2010 National Western Stock Show. As a three year old, Gunny was Co-Champion of the WSRHA Fall Derby in the Int. and Limited divisions and would have won the Open division had he been entered. His total NRHA earnings are just over $1,000 with limited showing.

Shiney Little Gun's sire, Colonels Smoking Gun (Gunner) is an NRHA of Fame sire. He had a distinguished show career, earning nearly $178,000 including the 2001 USEF Open Reining Championship, 1996 NRHA Futurity Open Reserve Championship, the 1996 APHA Open Futurity Championship and numerous other class victories. Shiney Little Gun's dam, Shining Little Peach has NRHA and NRCHA earnings of $12,293. She was an AQHA World Show finalist, Jr. and Sr. Working Cowhorse; 2000 Ardmore Cowhorse Classic Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion; Top 5 NRCHA Ltd Open Snaffle Bit Futurity.
